Noon Player Notes in the Draft (Mar 18)

Another goalie injury, which has us under the impression he won't be dressing tonight, as the Buffalo Sabres have recalled Nathan Lieuwen to take the spot of Robin Lehner, who may still be dealing with some pains in his ankle.  Lehner missed the better part of this season after ankle surgery, which he needed after only seven minutes of action in game number one this year.  With only a few weeks to go and no chance of the playoffs, it wouldn't surprise me if the Sabres were to shut down Lehner for the rest of the year, not risking further injury to their number one guy going forward.

Derek & Dan's push in the PIM pool had been aided by Lehner recently, as he has chipped in with 8 minutes in penalties since being picked up in the Week Eighteen Waiver Draft.  The duo has been also moving up in the overall standings, but that's only a matter of pride... the PIM pool will get them their money back.
