Morning Player Notes (Nov 27)
New Jersey Devils forward Marcus Johansson didn't dress on Monday night, as he has been dealing with a lower-body injury, which he suffered over the weekend. He's currently listed as out day-to-day and there is no actual timetable for his return just as of yet. Johansson has already missed a game due to an illness this season and has now appeared in 21 games for the Devils this year, scoring 3 goals and 8 points.
Johansson is among a trio of forwards on Wilton's team that have been under-performing this season, one of which has already been dropped in this week's Waiver Draft and there's a fine chance that Johansson could be the next one to go. Wilton picked him up in the preseason Waiver Draft, trying to sneak a little bit more offense out, but it hasn't quite worked out the way he had hoped yet.
