Morning Player Notes (Nov 11)
What is being slated as an arm injury was what kept Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad out of the lineup on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia and the forward has been listed as out day-to-day. There was no indication about when the injury occurred, but a day-to-day designation suggests that it isn't a serious injury or one that should keep him out for a significant amount of time. The Blackhawks play again on Monday, so it will be interesting to see if he suits up then for them.
Saad has 5 goals and 8 points in 16 games, so far this season, ranking him 215th in pool scoring after Saturday's action, which has given Tony about the right amount of value for his 201st overall selection this year. Tony's team, however, hasn't been giving him the greatest value in the first six weeks, ranking him 20th after Saturday night.
