Big news for the Washington Capitals, as an independent arbitrator has reduced Tom Wilson's suspension from 20 games to 14 games, which comes about two games too late, as the Capitals have already played 16 games in this regular season. The difference here being, Wilson will indeed get paid for those two games that he didn't play, whereas the suspension meant that he wasn't getting paid for them.
The good news for Scott is that he gets his player back from suspension four games early, assuming that Wilson is ready to play tonight in Minnesota, but otherwise, he could rejoin the team at any point now.
