Preds Place Turris on IR
The Nashville Predators raised a few eyebrows, placing forward Kyle Turris on the Injured Reserve on Sunday morning, ahead of their game against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night. The team said they lost the playmaking centre to an injury on Friday night, but they wouldn't disclose the nature of the injury, nor how long they expect him to be out for.
What we do know is that Turris is not eligible to come off the Injured Reserve until November 30th and the Predators wouldn't play until December 1st, at home to Chicago.
The 29-year old forward has been good for the Predators this season, picking up 5 goals and 16 points in 23 games this season and he does play a pretty big role down the middle for the team, so it could be a pretty good-sized hole in their lineup this week.
For Jeremy, it leaves a pretty good-sized hole among his forwards, which has struggled already this season, ranking 20th in pool scoring through Saturday night's action. Thankfully, Jeremy's team has been good at the other two positions, as his team ranks 10th overall, so he won't have a great pick to start the Waiver Draft, but there will be a lot of forwards available to help improve his team next week.
