Palat to Sit a Month
Already having sat out for a couple games already, Tampa Bay forward Ondrej Palat will now be on the shelf for the next four weeks, according to the team on Thursday morning. The 27-year old suffered a lower-body injury on October 26th against the Golden Knights and as much as he was starting to make some progress on the injury, the team has decided to shut him down for a few weeks.
Palat hasn't been overly electric with the Bolts to start the season, only picking up 5 assists in nine games so far, good enough for 368th overall in hockey pool scoring.
Missing out on the next month will see him on the shelf through the first Waiver Draft of the year, which will make for an interesting decision for Stacey M., who is right in the thick of the money race these days. Her team sits in 7th place, 10 points out of 1st and she'll need all hands on deck to keep up with those hot scoring teams.
