On Monday, the Dallas Stars announced that they came to terms with two depth players to new 2-year deals. Both forward Toby Petersen and defenseman Dan Jancevski signed on the dotted line to provide Dallas with some much-needed depth for the coming year.
Both players managed to play less than 10 games each last season, but with the Stars running into some salary cap space issues, they may see some more key ice-time in the coming year. Petersen was actually key in the Stars' success through the first three rounds of the playoffs, until they were finally upended by the eventual Cup winners.
