Tampa Adds More

Tampa GM Jay Feaster will need one hell of a vacation once the roster is near finalized. He continued to shuffle papers with the signing of veteran forward, Vaclav Prospal. Prospal signed a multi-year deal on Monday, keeping him away from unrestricted free agency, which was the idea when the Lightning dealt for him a couple of weeks ago.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but there is no real concern about their salary status as of Malone & Roberts deals on Sunday night.

It is getting a little confusing as to why the TV stations are prepping Dan Boyle to be traded for space at the moment. Unless the team makes some drastic moves, they should be okay with Boyle in the team. The Lightning had 18 players at $41.5 million before Prospal's signing. Prospal's market value could very well be $5 million, which still leaves $10 million for two more key players.

Anyone else getting a little tired of Tampa yet? I kind of wish my team was working this hard for my approval.
