Blackhawks forward, Andrew Ladd, signed a 2-year deal to stay with the Chicago team on Monday. Financial numbers were not released on the statement, but Ladd did earn around $2 million last season, so the number should be in that ballpark again.Ladd, 22, finished the season with 30 points (14G, 16A) in 63 games for the Blackhawks. He was acquired by the Hawks from Carolina around the trade deadline and obviously made a good impression with his new team. Ladd was potentially going to be a restricted free agent in July, but the Blackhawks were quick to quash that idea.
