Word out of the Red Wings camp on Wednesday morning is that Niklas Kronwall has re-injured his leg, which occurred in Tuesday night's game against the Sharks. Kronwall was out for almost two months with his first MCL injury, so there is some genuine fear that a valuable member of the blueline will miss some more significant time. Consider him day-to-day for now, until otherwise noted. As of right now, he won't suit up for Wednesday's game against the Ducks.
Kronwall was dropped in the Draft this year and for good reason, since he was out for the long-term. So, now he's only a Sheet player for the remainder of the season, where he was taken 17 times this season. Needless to say, he doesn't rank very well scoring-wise, since he missed so much time this season.
