It sounded like a rest day for both Doug Weight and Dwayne Roloson on Tuesday night, as the Islanders took on the Predators.
Weight was given the night off, seeing as though the team is playing in back-to-back nights, so he should be back in the line-up tonight, as the team travels to Pittsburgh for a game against the Penguins.
It was Roloson's turn to sit out for the Islanders in the 3-goalie rotation, which stirred up some thought that the 4-3 shootout win over Nashville was more of a showcase game, giving teams the opportunity to see Martin Biron in action, before dealing for him. I would imagine Roloson will be starting tonight for the Islanders, after being given the night off, but that won't be known for sure until game time.
Roloson is the only player between the two that has any significance in the pools this year, as he was taken in both the Draft and the Sheet, by Benson, as we should all know by now, since this isn't Roloson's first time in the press box. Weight was available on the Sheet and via the Waiver Draft in the Draft pool, but wasn't tempting enough for most people.
