A charley horse is to blame for the absence of Mike Commodore on Tuesday night. This is the second time this injury has befallen the Box 11 defender, but the first time was on the other leg. He is considered to be out on a day-to-day basis, but the Blue Jackets don't seem to be worried, as they have considerable depth on the blueline.
It looks like the blueline rotation is back in effect for the Kings, as Peter Harrold, the Box 14 defenseman, was held out of the line-up again this season. The Kings are doing well to stay ahead of the curve and they're finding their stride again, so once they have the winning formula figured out, I would imagine that they'd stick with it.
Over the weekend, the Coyotes called Mikkel Boedker up from the minors, he managed to get into a game over the weekend, but Tuesday night, he was a healthy scratch for the team. After being a healthy scratch, I would have to imagine that the Box 6 forward will likely be on his way back to the minors, as coach Dave Tippett has not been a fan of keeping the teenagers with the team.
