Future Considerations

The Tampa Bay Lightning, already a pretty impressive defensive team, improved on that aspect of their line-up on Saturday with the acquisition of Bruno Gervais from the New York Islanders. Gervais is a restricted free agent next weekend and will likely need a reasonable deal, but the Lightning are in good shape and should be able to add Gervais without too much trouble.

Expect the Lightning to be even more physical when the 2012 season ramps up in October.
