News came down on Tuesday morning to confirm that Nathan Horton had indeed suffered a concussion, a major concussion at that, which means he will not return to the Bruins' line-up for the remainder of the playoffs. With a little over a week left in the series, Horton would have to miss at least a week to the concussion protocol, but a major concussion will most certainly mean a longer recovery time.
This injury is a huge blow to the Bruins offense, not to mention the 12 teams in the pool that have Horton, including three teams in the top 10. With at least two more games left in this series, the scoring loss of Horton may have a pretty big effect, especially with some of those top ten teams in a tight race for the last couple money spots.
