Of course, when I don't do a preview post, a team comes off the list. How about that?
In the Edmonton/Washington game, Stacey C. had his name removed, as Braden Holtby finally picked up his first win of the season, beating the Oilers, 4-2. It was looking likely that Stacey was going to come off the list, regardless of which team won, but his other goalie, Devan Dubnyk, did not get the start for the Oilers, leaving it to Jason LaBarbera. Thankfully for him, 50% of the starting goalies was enough to come off the list.
Stuart had a shot at coming off the list, but Jhonas Enroth couldn't lift the Buffalo past the Wild.
There are 11 games going tonight in the NHL and Tony (Elliott/Miller), Stuart (Enroth/Lehner), John (Brodeur/Ramo) and Cindy (Ellis/Emery) remain as the four teams without goalie points.
It looks like Tony might get a shot with Ryan Miller, as the Sabres are on Long Island tonight, since Enroth got the start last night. Stuart looks to be shutout, as Craig Anderson should return to the crease for the Senators against the Coyotes. John has neither goalie going tonight and it doesn't sound like Kari Ramo will be returning to the Flames net any time soon. Finally, the Stars are in Colorado, which should mean that Dan Ellis will get the start, since Kari Lehtonen is hurt. The Flyers are also hosting the Canucks tonight, but I haven't seen who is starting for Philadelphia yet, so there is a chance Cindy will have two players going tonight.
Tony and Cindy look to have the best chances to get off the list tonight, which would leave Stuart and John on the list, waiting it out for their first goalie points. This is getting fun to watch!
