Goalie Announcements (Oct 22)
Eight games on the schedule tonight and eight teams have yet to qualify for Week Four in the goalie survivor pool and we've only got four nights left in the week.
The game of the night in the goalie survivor pool is the Chicago Blackhawks playing host to the Florida Panthers, as Stuart will pit his goalie against Kristy & Don's. Corey Crawford will be at the home end, while Roberto Luongo will be at the other end, the loser will have to wait a night or two to try it all over again.
Two other goalies can effectively qualify their pool teams into the next week and they are both in the late games tonight. Ryan Miller will get the nod for the Canucks with the Capitals and Braden Holtby (Jeremy) in town, giving Clayton a shot at moving on, while Martin Jones and the Sharks will be hosting Jhonas Enroth (Brian) making his season debut for the Kings. Jones belongs to Scott, who already dropped one attempt this week at earning a win and he'll be in tough against a goalie trying to make a statement for his new club.
One pool team has both of their goalies going tonight, as Troy will have both Cory Schneider in for the Devils in Ottawa, while Sergei Bobrovsky gets to show off his skills to his new head coach, as the Blue Jackets are in Minnesota.
Another start of note, Andrew Hammond will make his 2016 debut for the Senators this season, giving Wes his first goalie start of the year.
