Fisher Hits the Injured Reserve

Nashville Predators forward Mike Fisher left Tuesday's game against the Coyotes with a lower-body injury, not to return, an injury that sort of flew under the radar until about Wednesday afternoon.  It was then that the team placed the veteran centre on the Injured Reserve with this lower-body injury, resigning themselves to the fact that Fisher will miss the next four games, as his injury gets tested and they will re-evaluate the situation after this next stretch of games.

Fisher has been anything, but productive this year, picking up only 5 goals and 7 points in 24 games, except that he does have 19 PIM, but that isn't here or there at the moment.

John S. picked up Fisher in the 11th round and hasn't been getting good value for his pick, as the veteran is coming in about two rounds lower in the rankings overall, definitely better suited to be a 13th round pick.

John currently sits in 6th place, 13 points out of the money, still with a 2nd round Waiver Draft pick to use and there could definitely be some serious consideration in dropping Fisher, especially with the potential for more time missed.
