Goalie Announcements (Dec 27)

Saturday was a clutch day for the survivor pool and the surviving teams that were playing all managed to qualify for Week Thirteen, so that's pretty spectacular news.  Only one team remains on the bubble heading into Sunday.

Corey Crawford of the Blackhawks has been clutch for Stuart this year, especially since he has only had one goalie for quite a while now.  Crawford indeed gets the nod for Chicago tonight, as they play host to the Carolina Hurricanes, a team that played on Saturday night and are going with Eddie Lack (Wes) in net.

The Hurricanes beat the Devils last night, so they could be riding a high coming into this one, making the game very interesting.

This is the only 5pm MT start on the docket tonight, where the other eight games are spread throughout the afternoon and evening.

Other interesting starters confirmed already today include Jonathan Bernier (Cindy) going up against Thomas Greiss (Eric) in Brooklyn, while Brian Elliott (Grant) and Kari Lehtonen (Dale C.) each get starts on back-to-back nights for their clubs,  In the late game tonight, it will be Anders Nilsson (Cindy) taking on Karri Ramo (Brenda & Seward) in the Battle of Alberta.

The week ends tonight and we'll have full coverage of everything in the Newsletter tomorrow morning.
