Noon Player Notes in the Draft (Dec 16)

A minor lower-body was the issue that saw Sharks forward Tomas Hertl take a game off, Tuesday night against the Canadiens in Montreal.  Hertl was a late scratch with the injury last night, but it sounds like he was good to go for the morning skate on Wednesday and he could be ready to go for Thursday's game in Toronto.  He's currently on the list as day-to-day and that appears to be as bad as it's going to get.

Neil's team continues to make a slight decline, as they have now fallen to 5th place in the standings, but still only 3 points out of the money.  Hertl has been okay for his team this year, having 13 points in 29 games thus far in the year.  He could use a few more points here, I'm sure.

It sounds like Michael Frolik is hurt, as he has reportedly suffered an upper-body injury in Tuesday night's game in Nashville and that he has been sent back to Calgary to get looked at.  The early reports are not very optimistic, citing that he could very well be out for a little while.  We'll probably know more in the next day or two and we'll have something posted here, when we find out.

Not good news for Scott, who sees his team in 12th place after Tuesday night, now 28 points out of the money and now down a forward.  In 30 games this season, the Flames newcomer has picked up 16 points and 4 PIM, so he was contributing a fair bit already this year.  Of course, we'll have a better idea of the impact, when the timetable is released.
