Goalie Announcements (Dec 8)

There were only three games on Monday night and there wasn't much going on for the survivor pool then.  On Tuesday night, one of the busiest nights of the week, it's a little bit different.

Now with only six teams left in the pool, the beginning of the week posts get shorter and shorter.

The NHL schedule kicks off with a head-to-head match-up in the survivor pool, as Jaroslav Halak and the Islanders will visit Steve Mason and the Flyers, a match-up between Dale B. and Derek W..

Jeremy has a shot at moving on tonight with Braden Holtby and the Capitals, they are hosting Jimmy Howard (Stacey M.) and the Red Wings at the Verizon Center.

John P. will also get a start out of Craig Anderson, as the Senators take on the Panthers and their number one, Roberto Luongo (Kristy & Don).

Finally, Corey Crawford and the Blackhawks will go on behalf of Stuart's team, taking on Pekka Rinne (Ryan) and the Predators tonight.  The Predators coming off a win in Boston on Monday night, should provide a good challenge to the hosting Hawks.

Making their pool debut tonight will be Garret Sparks of the Maple Leafs, still around with the Leafs and ready to help Ryan out, for one game, at least, tonight against Cory Schneider (Troy) and the Devils.
