Afternoon Player Notes in the Draft (Jan 10)

Bobby Ryan and his hand injuries, right?  Ryan blocked a shot with his hand on Tuesday night and has already been ruled out for tonight's game in Toronto and beyond that is still up in the air.  It sounds like there are more tests to be done to determine the extent of the injury, so he'll be considered day-to-day for right now.

For Stacey C., his team has dropped a spot to 21st place this week and his team is now in danger of dropping another, as Wes' team is on a Mover & Shaker pace to start and it looks like he's bringing Eric with him.  Not having Ryan in the lineup, means Stacey's team will really have to step up to make up for this absence... and quickly!

The Buffalo Sabres have possibly lost the services of defenseman Zach Bogosian again, as he was helped off the ice at practice on Wednesday and his status has to be questionable, at best, for Thursday night's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.  We'll try to find out more in the next couple of days, but it doesn't look great.

Wilton's team has done well despite not really having an active Bogosian for a good part of the season, as the defenseman has only appeared in 18 games this season, picking up 1 assist in the process.  Still, Wilton's team sits in 3rd place and if all goes well into the Week Eighteen, he will be a drop.
