Goalie Announcements (Jan 10)

The bye-shortened week wasn't any match for our two remaining teams in the goalie survivor pool, as Grant and Wilton got their wins from Philipp Grubauer and Andrei Vasilevskiy, respectively, on Tuesday night.  Now, we're left with an entire week of games to be played and no real intrigue in the mini-game.

I guess we'll have to make do with making up our own stores for the remaining games in Week Fifteen.

Only two games going on Wednesday night, which means the points will be scarce again for another night.

Craig Anderson (Tony) versus Frederik Andersen (Mike)
The night after getting yanked against the Blackhawks, Craig Anderson gets the call again tonight against the Maple Leafs, as Ottawa and Toronto will renew hostilities in the Battle of Ontario.  On the other side, it should come as no surprise, Frederik Andersen will be in the crease there.

Mike's team is chasing Tony's this week, but it's a 15-point spread between the two sides, between 18th and 14th place in the standings.  Mike's team is one of a few that are struggling with the projected games totals this week, so he could really use a win here tonight to make up for the lack of potential in the rest of the week.

Devan Dubnyk (Brenda & Seward) versus Jeff Glass (N/A)
The Blackhawks are also right back at it tonight and since they started Anton Forsberg for that one, they will go back to Jeff Glass, but either way... there are no potential hockey points from that side.

For Minnesota, however, Devan Dubnyk gets the call tonight, as Alex Stalock was in net for the Wild overtime loss to the Flames last night, giving Brenda & Seward a start tonight.  The duo have one of the teams in between Tony and Mike in the standings and they are only 9 points behind Tony in the standings.  They can either make up ground or keep pace with a win here tonight.
