Canes' Aho Out Indefinitely
The Carolina Hurricanes confirmed a couple of diagnoses for their young forward Sebastian Aho, as he suffered both a concussion and a lower-body injury when he collided with Flames defenseman Mark Giordano on Sunday and is now out indefinitely.
It's hard to gauge what the worse of the two injuries actually was, since it was a pretty good blow to the head and a knee-on-knee collision, but with the way some of the concussion testing has been going for a number of players, the knee injury could be the worse of the two.
The 20-year old Finn has been good this season, scoring 16 goals and 37 points in 45 games this season, ranking 57th overall in pool scoring after Monday night's action. Losing this kid will be a terrible blow to the Hurricanes, as he has been their best player this season.
For Kristy & Don, this is their best forward being crushed by injury, not to mention being their second best player on their team. The duo has been getting some consistent scoring through their lineup, but Aho has been exceptional this season and his injury could dash their hopes of making it into the top three in the standings.
