Goalie Announcements (Jan 7)
A remarkably busy day in the NHL on Sunday, as there are 10 games on the schedule on a day that's normally reserved for only three or four games. There's lots going on and lots of action to be had.
Thankfully, for this post, I don't really need to get into too many games, as Jeremy's team is still looking for its win this week and it will be in tough today, in one of the early games on the scheduled.
Cory Schneider (Jeremy) versus Jaroslav Halak (Benson)
The Devils will be into Brooklyn this afternoon to take on the Islanders and the two goalies have been confirmed as Cory Schneider, Jeremy's last hope this week, taking on Jaroslav Halak, who belongs to Benson's 3rd place team in the standings.
Jeremy's team is not only in trouble in the goalie survivor pool, it is also struggling mightily in the weekly scoring race, currently leading the Basement Dweller race with only 9 points this week. Steve's team is only 2 points clear and doesn't have any goalies going today.
