Canada Olympic Roster Unveiled

On Thursday, Hockey Canada finally unveiled it's initial list of players that is heading to Pyeongchang, South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympics and there are quite a few familiar faces, most of which will be on top of many lists (one would have to believe), when it comes to the Olympic draft.

There are plenty of players on this Canada roster that has at least some form of NHL experience, except for defenseman Mat Robinson, who wasn't even drafted by an NHL team, but has plenty of experience in Europe, between the Swedish Elite League and the KHL.

The goaltending looks to be pretty solid, especially after the Spengler Cup win for Kevin Poulin and the forwards are a very quick bunch, all with plenty of upside and leadership, while the defense isn't filled with the most recognizable names, but there is plenty of experience in the European leagues, which should help, given the competition this time around.

Down below is the complete roster for the Canadian Olympic team, so it's time to start doing some of your homework.
