A minor lower-body injury will likely keep Craig Anderson from starting for the Senators in the coming days. Anderson didn't start Thursday night's game against the Devils and it sounds like he might not start this weekend either, but he isn't injured enough to sit in the press box, as he was still dressed backing up Curtis McElhinney. There has been no word as to how long Anderson may be watching McElhinney, but the Senators have not called up anyone to take his spot, so it must not be too bad.
This is just another hit on the late season struggles of Benson G., who is struggling mightily to keep his team in the money race. With only 9 points through Thursday night's action, he may be out of 4th place by the end of Friday night and with Anderson not playing, he may fall further out without a goalie start to help pad his numbers.
