The St. Louis Blues have activated their number one goalie, Jaroslav Halak, from the Injured Reserve on Tuesday and they expect him to start their game on Wednesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Halak has been on the shelf with a hand injury and it has kept him out of the line-up since the middle of February, when he was placed on the IR.
He will be a welcomed addition to Neil B.'s line-up, a line-up that has suffered greatly without his number one goalie. When Neil lost Halak in February, his team was ranked 15th and going into Tuesday night's busy night, his team is ranked 17th, nearing another drop to 18th. I don't think you could blame the drop wholly on Halak's absence, but it certainly didn't help at all.
