Sheet Player News (Mar 25)

It appears as though youth is being shown up to the press box again in Phoenix, as the team looks to make that push into a good playoff spot this season.  Box 9 forward Kyle Turris joined fellow youngster Oliver Ekman-Larsson as a healthy scratch on Thursday night, as the team took on the Blue Jackets.  The Coyotes are trying to track down the Sharks for the Pacific Division title or at worst, trying to earn themselves some home playoff dates in the first round.  It's hard to confirm, but this is just what I'm assuming at the moment.

A lower-body injury is to blame for the absence of Marc-Edouard Vlasic from the Sharks line-up on Thursday night.  The almost-veteran defenseman missed out on the 4-3 shootout loss and there is little word as to how much more time he'll possibly miss with the injury.  It sounds like it was a resting or maintenance day for Vlasic, which could suggest a quick return or possibly another game away.
