Good news for Devils fans, as they will get to see Zach Parise, arguably their best player (or in the top three at the very least) back in the line-up before the season is over. Parise suffered a major knee injury at the end of October and has not been available since after undergoing surgery to repair the damage. The initial prognosis was that Parise would be back at the beginning of February, but some set backs have brought us until now before his return. The Devils may have him back in the line on Wednesday next week, just in time to catch the last week and a half of the season.
Parise was drafted this year, but was one of the first players dumped in the first waiver draft of the season, leaving his name rather lonely on the selection sheet for the rest of the year. I would imagine he'll make for a great pick in the draft next season, likely falling a bit in the draft, due to people forgetting about him until late.
