Sheet Player News (Mar 6)

An undisclosed injury from practice kept Box 22 forward Jochen Hecht out of the Sabres line-up on Saturday night. The details have been minimal to non-existent from the team, but we'll be wise just to consider him out day-to-day for the time being. If it was anything serious, I'm sure there would have been some better details already announced.

After taking a big hit on Friday night against the Ducks, Jamie Langenbrunner was out of the Stars' line-up because of an upper-body injury. The Box 20 forward has missed some significant time already this season, back when he was playing with the Devils, but there has been no further details announced at this time. With the Stars still in the playoff hunt, details will be sketchy from here on in.

Word out of Oilers camp is that Box 5 forward Gilbert Brule had taken ill on Saturday night, forcing him out of the game against the Avalanche. Brule, who has only just returned to the line-up this week from a long-term injury, was disappointed to be sitting out again last night.  As far as I can tell, he'll just be day-to-day for right now, with the expectation that he'll be back in the line-up before too long.
