On Tuesday night against the Predators, Oilers defenseman Kurtis Foster lost a 1-on-1 battle in the corner with David Legwand, down in the corner of the defensive zone, taking a good shove and falling awkwardly to the ice. The hit was in no way dirty, just the result of a physical battle. Foster hit the boards pretty hard and had to be helped off the ice, he remains doubtful going into Thursday night's game against the Blues in St. Louis.
Foster is a part of Clayton C.'s pool team this year, a team trying to make its way up the standings, as far as it can before the end of the season, trying to erase the memory of the weeks in last place. Clayton's team currently sits in 17th, 6 points back of 16th and 8 points back of 15th.
