The New Jersey Devils have added a little competition to their training camp crease, as they have agreed to bring Anders Lindback to camp on a tryout. The back-up job behind Cory Schneider is currently being held by Keith Kinkaid, who turned out some decent numbers last season, enough to be pool worthy, but now isn't the time to rest on his laurels, so some added competition could help.
Lindback played with the Coyotes last season and didn't post great numbers, but they didn't necessarily play a defensively sound game either. A change of scenery could help the large Swede's chances of getting a job, but he'll have to dazzle in camp, just to earn a contract.
