It sounds like the whole Team Europe roster wasn't quite in town on Monday, when camp was supposed to officially hit the ice, which does seem like a likely cause for the lack of line combinations on the first day. On the second day, it sounds like there are other issues with numbers for our dear NHL.com correspondent, Amalie Benjamin, so accuracy is questionable, but here were how she spotted the forward lines:
Mikkel Boedker - Anze Kopitar - Mats Zuccarello
Tomas Tatar - Frans Nielsen - Marian Hossa
Marian Gaborik - Leon Draisaitl - Nino Niederreiter
Thomas Vanek - Pierre-Edouard Bellemare - Jannik Hansen
Tobias Rieder
It may have also been too early for the defensive pairings to be reported, but they have a very solid group of blueliners, so pair them off as you will. Roman Josi, Zdeno Chara, Andrej Sekera, Mark Streit, Christian Ehrhoff, Dennis Seidenberg and Luca Sbisa, all sorted by last year's scoring.
Philipp Grubauer did indeed replace Frederik Andersen on the roster and he'll likely be in behind the pair from Long Island, Jaroslav Halak and Thomas Greiss.
