An interesting report this morning said that Tomas Fleischmann was on the verge of agreeing to a professional tryout with the Minnesota Wild, as camps are set to open this weekend. Fleischmann, 32, split time between Montreal and Chicago last season, playing in 76 games and picked up 25 points, just on the verge of being pool worthy.The depth for the Wild in the forward position is a bit thin, so there is certainly a roster spot or two available for someone with a strong training camp there, but the dollars and cents would have to make sense as well, since the Wild are snuggling up against the ceiling, heading into camp.
