Off-Season Injury Notes (Sep 5)

Further to Radko Gudas' injury departure from the Czech Republic World Cup team, the Philadelphia Flyers have said that their rough & tumble defender will be on a week-to-week basis with an upper-body injury.  The injury was suffered in his off-season training regiment and the team is optimistic that he could be ready for opening night, not really speaking to his availability for training camp, as of yet.

There is some potential for Gudas to be a hockey pool player this season, albeit a mid-season injury replacement, more than taken at the draft itself, but it is a certain possibility.  His current projection has him at 15 points, which may get some adjustments, as we draw closer to the season and his injury concerns are addressed.
