The Canucks have reportedly lost defenseman, Kevin Bieksa, to yet another injury this season. Bieksa has apparently suffered a fracture in his foot after taking a shot in the game against Nashville earlier in the year. The injury is supposed to keep Bieksa out of the line-up for upwards of four weeks, but he does want to rush himself back, saying that his goal is to be out 10 days.
Bieksa currently sits as the second-highest scoring available defenseman in the Draft, having 11 points in 13 games for the Canucks. His injury will either last through the Waiver Draft in a couple weeks or could be back before the Draft commences. Keep that in mind if you are looking for a defenseman in the Draft.
