The Boston Bruins managed to beat up on the Buffalo Sabres last night, 7-4, in an offensive shootout. The Bruins did it all without the help of Marco Sturm, who sat out with an upper body injury. Sturm is listed as out day-to-day with his new affliction and the team hasn't given any indication of how long he'll be out for.
Sturm is a Draft pick of Wes, which gives him three players on the injured list leading up to the Waiver Draft.
This season, Sturm has registered 12 points (6G, 6A) in 18 games for Boston this year.
