TSN is reporting that Joe Sakic did not join the team when they left Denver to start their road trip, beginning in Vancouver tonight. Sakic is staying behind to take treatment for his sore back, but the coaching staff is hopeful that he can join the team further down the line on the road.Sakic, a Draft pick of Wes', has played in 13 games for Colorado this season and has registered 12 points. He still seems to be a big force offensively when he is in the line-up, but a sore back that keeps flaring up is hurting his overall fantasy value.
