The Blues have been riding some pretty good offense to start the season, leading them to a 5-5-0 record. The Blues rank tied for tenth is Goals For Per Game, which is a pretty hefty feat, especially since the team was awfully goal-starved for the better part of last season. A bright spot to their season already has been the young players that they have grown in their system and have transplanted into their starting line-up.
Unfortunately, one of their bright spots, T.J. Oshie, has suffered an ankle injury over the weekend and it looks like he'll be sidelined indefinitely. Oshie already has 4 points in 10 games for the Blues this year and was finally looking to have caught his stride as a full-time player. That will have to be on hold for the time being, as he'll be on the shelf for quite some time, you can imagine. Oshie is a Box 9 forward in the Sheet pool and was likely going to find himself in the running for a vote or two in the Calder Trophy voting, but an ankle injury and significant time lost could mean that those hopes are dashed.
Sit Oshie if you have him in your pool.
