Dion Doubtful

Not only did the Flames get schalacked in Chicago on Sunday night, but they have now reportedly have injury concerns. Sportsnet.ca has reported on Monday that Dion Phaneuf will be doubtful for the game against Toronto at home on Tuesday.

This doesn't bode well for the Flames, as the quick skating Leafs will have some more free-reign over the Flames in their end without Phaneuf patrolling the boards.

In the Draft, this is yet another injury for Grant (potentially), who already (and continues to) deals with a list of injuries. In the Sheet, there was little doubt that Phaneuf was going to be popular... in Calgary... and so all the owners will start to hold their breath, while those who took Nicklas Lidstrom or Chris Pronger will likely laugh their way to the top.
