The Penguins have announced that they will be without their number one goalie tonight, as Marc-Andre Fleury has missed the last couple days of practice, thanks to an undisclosed injury. The Penguins will start Dany Sabourin against the Minnesota Wild, while they have called up John Curry from the AHL to back him up. Fleury's injury isn't said to be very serious and he should only be out for a few days, including those he already sat.
Fleury and the Penguins have had a pretty good start to the season, firmly planted in the playoff race in the Eastern Conference. Fleury, a Draft pick of Don and a Box 31 starter in the East, has already registered 8 wins and 16 points, but expectations are likely a little bit higher and an injury now certainly doesn't help his fantasy value. If you have him, you may want to consider someone a little more stable, but his return from injury last season brought great success for himself and the team, so stay tuned.
