Things are not so rosy in Rangers' training camp. It appears that there has been a delay put on Marian Gaborik's season, as his ailing hip and groin are playing up again and he hasn't been able to hit the ice just yet.
Gaborik, signed by the Rangers to a substantial deal, underwent hip surgery in March to help correct his oft-injured frame, but it sounds like there is more rest that needs to happen before he's anywhere near 100%. There is very little to really go on this, as the extent of the pain isn't really known and all we know is that he hasn't been on the ice for the first two skating sessions for the veterans at camp.
Hopefully, as a poolie, you know the risks of taking Gaborik in any sort of pool. There is no question that he is talented, but any mention of a player that is "injury-prone" should ward you off. Remove him from your list and let someone else have this headache on their team. It's better safe than sorry.
