On Sunday night, Adam Burish left the game versus the Minnesota Wild after crashing into the boards and injured his knee. This morning, the Blackhawks announced that Burish has a torn ACL in his knee and will undergo surgery to repair it, which will keep him out of the line-up for up to six months. This would put his possible return time at the end of March or the beginning of April.
In 2009, Burish played in 66 games for the Hawks, scoring 6 goals and 3 assists. He isn't a huge fantasy player, but he is a good role player, which the team will miss down the stretch.
