An upper-body injury made Fedor Tyutin into a late scratch on Monday night, as the team took on the St. Louis Blues. Tyutin had reportedly taken the pre-game skate and wasn't scratched until after the warm-up, so he is considered a game-time decision for Tuesday's contest in Philadelphia.
Curiously, with the return of Marc Methot to the line-up and the injury to Tyutin, Milan Jurcina was held out of the Jackets line-up as a healthy scratch. The body math doesn't quite work out there, but it looked like Methot went in for Tyutin and Mathieu Roy stayed in the line-up, since he has been playing so well.
Unfortunately in that game against St. Louis, it appears that Mike Commodore has suffered a leg injury and will not be able to go for the Blue Jackets tonight, which may see a bit more of a logjam for bodies going back into the line-up.
In other news, expect Fredrik Modin to be back in the line-up tonight, he was retroactively placed on the Injured Reserve, which did have him qualify to come off as soon as he was needed. He was likely on there to fit Methot back in the line-up, but it'll be interesting to see how they work their active roster with his return.
Okay, for the Draft... only Tyutin is actively used in that pool this season. John B. has him on his team, but we are not expecting much out of that.
On the Sheet, no one has Tyutin, Commodore, Modin or Jurcina... so it's all kind of a moot point.
