A curious absence of
Mike Green from the Capitals line-up on Thursday night has not necessarily been solved as of yet. Green was out of the line-up against the Penguins due to an undisclosed injury, but the good news for the Capitals is that he did practice on Friday and is expected to be in the line-up on Saturday, as the team plays host to the Phoenix Coyotes.
So, what this means in the end is that Larry missed out on a game from his top defender in the Draft, as did 31 teams in the Sheet pool. It doesn't look like a major problem and no one should be too concerned for the weekend. I suppose the only concern would be that the injury isn't in a soft spot, which could be taken advantage of and re-iinjured.
