It really doesn't look like Nick Boynton is winning much confidence in Anaheim, as he went back to the press box on Tuesday night against the Red Wings. The Ducks' win over Detroit likely even cemented Boynton's spot in the press box for at least another game, which is not what his fantasy owners are looking for. Sit him, trade him, dump him, if you can.
Word out of Wild camp is that veteran forward, Owen Nolan, is hampered by a leg injury, which he suffered on the weekend in the team's game against the Devils. He hasn't been able to skate since the game and missed out on Tuesday night's contest against the Blackhawks. He is considered day-to-day for now.
Kevin Porter of the Coyotes is kind of starting to tick me off... every time he gets back into the line-up, its usually on the weekend, where I take him off the list and not worry about having an active link for him on my main news page. With the in & out of the line-up, I'm surprised that the Coyotes haven't sent him down to the minors already. He was a scratch again last night against the Oilers and I would expect a demotion soon.
The Maple Leafs were without Mike Komisarek on Tuesday night against the Panthers, as the Box 27 defenseman was sitting out with a shoulder injury. Komisarek is not expected back for the team's next game tonight in Philadelphia, but should be close to ready to go later on this week. He hasn't been a star player for any kind of fantasy league, but I thought I would let you know anyways.
