An undisclosed injury kept David Krejci out of the Bruins line-up on Thursday night, as they took on the Sharks. Krejci has missed a couple games already this season after contracting a bout of the Swine Flu in November, but there is no indication of the severity of Krejci's new injury. We have to consider him day-to-day for now.
In 43 games, Krejci has scored 8 goals and 17 assists, which is a ways down from the scoring pace he had in 2009. This has not been a profitable year for the fantasy teams that thought Krejci was a lock for good points.
In the Draft, Krejci is a member of Larry's team, which currently sits in 8th spot in the standings, only 8 points out of the money. A substantial injury could be hard to overcome, but at this point, he hasn't had an opportunity to make his second Waiver Draft selection.
His big 2009 season landed him in the 2nd best forwards box in the Eastern Conference, Box 18, where he was up against the likes of Sidney Crosby and Nicklas Backstrom. Needless to say, he wasn't a popular player in that box.
