Voracek to Miss Time

An elbow from Bruins forward, Michael Ryder, may have knocked Jakub Voracek out of the Blue Jackets line-up for a while.

What we know so far is that Voracek will be out of the line-up on Saturday as the Jackets are in Minnesota to take on the Wild. He is going to be re-evaluated on Saturday to see what the extent of his upper-body injury actually is. The real fear is that the youngster has suffered a concussion and would be out at least a week, possibly more.

ImplicationsThis is not the news that Wayne wanted to hear, as his Draft team is in the money at the moment and injuries are not what he wants to see at the moment. Wayne has been in the mix here for the last few weeks and Voracek has chipped in here and there, so I'm sure he's hoping that he'll be back right away.

On the Sheet, Voracek was taken once in Box 5 and his 28 points is middle of the pack in that box. The current leader, Alex Burrows, has 41 points this season.
