The Canucks and Senators have completed a swap of players, seeing forward Ryan Shannon out of Vancouver for defenseman Lawrence Nycholat. The move does look to favour the Senators, as they claim a speedy winger who could likely play with some of the team's top forwards, while the Canucks add a little bit of minor league depth to their blueline.

Both players are not big on the projection scale for the year, although Shannon does seem to curry favour from two of the publications reviewed already, including a reasonable 24 points from a 60-game season.
Where does he fit in the large scheme of things with the Sens? He could potentially be a good fit with Antoine Vermette or, even better, Daniel Alfredsson, on a second or third line stint. Shannon could be a little sleeper for your pool this year, depending how well camp goes.
