It looks like the Alexander Radulov situation hasn't gotten too much better, as the Predators have now suspended the defected forward for the coming season, because of his participation in Russia's Continental Hockey League. Radulov has already played in one game for his new team in Russia, scoring a goal, in a 3-1 loss, which should now seal the coffin for his chances of coming back.
The league and Predators now hope that the IIHF will uphold his suspension in Russia, which is creating a new ball of yarn, outside of the perils of hockey pools based in the NHL.
Radulov came into the NHL with so much hype, but couldn't reproduce the numbers that he did in Quebec for the Ramparts of the QMJHL and quite obviously felt a shift to his homeland was a better situation. Sadly, with the deal going down, it was pretty apparent that he wasn't coming back.
You can officially strike Radulov off of your lists for the coming hockey pool season.
